Wow - what a neat news cast - I think the TV broadcasters could learn something from all the cool news you broadcast!

This is an awesome job, guys! I’m the principal at Harrington Elementary in Albion and we’ve just started a live morning broadcast this year. These podcasts are a great example for my students.

I really liked the segment on how to make a delicious treat instead of the regular ice cream. I might have to try that sometime.

They did a good job on their interviews. I think these kids could be the next P.E.N reporters when they get to high school!

Good job. The students are very talented for being so young!

Good news………… BUT I believe someone posted the HTML code for the video over the actual Lansing edition one.
But which ever this segment was it wasn’t bad again the sound was good.

Two thumbs up! Fantastic audio levels and interviews.

Your broadcast was great! I thought you did a great job for your first two shows!
Options to make it better: Shots with different angles: You had the same shot throughout the video, maybe you should try and set up different angles for your next broadcast! Limit the interviews: If you put in too many interviews, it causes the audience to become bored faster. I would knock the volume down a notch, a little too loud…
You guys did a great job! Please checkout www.schooltubbe.com and check out P.E.N and feel free to critiwue us, helping improve our news shows too! Great Job, Lacey DuBoise

Nice job with the audio everything was loud and clear. In the high school we have problems with that. It was a very nice newscast.

November 25th, 2008 at 8:13 am
You guys are very well prepared for your interviews. A skill that some of us high schoolers don’t have.
November 25th, 2008 at 8:14 am
You guys did a really nice job, when i was in your grade i would not have been able to make a news show that well.

What a great job of delivering the news! The students spoke clearly and with expression, the transitions between stories were fun and the interviews were well planned. The format looked very good. As the teacher who works with student reporters at Marshall Middle I am impressed with the Panther News.
